A Little Review: Mooo.com.au

So. My 21st birthday is coming up in July, and well, this is one of the biggest parties I have ever planned.. Well, the only party I have ever planned. I have never had a large group of friends, and birthdays are not something that my family gather in one place for. But my Aunt and I thought differently this year, because this is the big one, the one big one before my wedding.

But anyway. We looked at invitations, at adult looking ones with detailing and blacks and whites, and thought. Nah. This is not good! They’re not me. So we thought, lets look at children’s birthday invitations!

Then I found Mooo.com.au

I fell in love. The moment I saw the cute, unique cartoon like designs, I knew I would find my invitations here. It was only a quite skip and a hop on the link, and I could see all the different types of invitations.

The moment got better when I found the owls.

Oh the owls, they instantly became my favourite design, and looking through all the types, I was not tempted to stray one bit! Except for perhaps the monsters. I could even choose a different color type set for my owls, I think that was a great feature.

Then it came to the customization. This did urk me a little, the online program was a little buggy to use, you were not able to move the image, and insert any text boxes. When typing the text, anything over 5 lines was rendered invisible on the editing screen, but appeared in the preview copy of the invitation. But when I had finally worked it all out, and mapped out what I had to say, then it was easy from there.

 

Once everything was finished. and all perfect, it was an easy check out procedure, and everything was done. When I saw the ‘2 to 3 weeks’ on the end of the check out, my heart kind of sunk, but since they were in another state, I thought that it would take a bit longer anyway.

Two to Three Weeks my foot! It was a week, tops, I was waiting! I could not believe the surprise I felt when I saw the parcel in our PO BOX. Win!

They are perfect, and glossy, and actually fit in the envelopes that they come in, and I just can’t WAIT to send them all out. If I could have afforded it, I would have added the magnet at the back, because it’s such a shame to do anything to cover up those lovely owls!

So here they are! My brand new invitations, thank you Mooo.com.au! That shopping experience with you was a very pleasurable one, and when I have children, guess where I shall be shopping?
